Everglades BBQ and Seafood

Route 9, Wilton, 580-9631. Casual, fun atmosphere, serving Florida-style barbecue and seafood. Baby-back ribs, smoked chicken and spare ribs slowly cooked over an open pit. Fresh selections of seafood including salmon and haddock, as well as daily specials. Appetizers include coconut shrimp, fried gator and conch, wings, and homemade key lime pie for dessert. Beer and wine available. Takeout and off-premises catering available with portable smoker-grill wagon. Serving 4-9 PM Wed-Sun. AE, MC, V. $$

Giffy’s Bar-B-Q

Smokey Bones BBQ & Grill

The Van Dyck Restaurant & Brewery

237 Union St., Schenectady, 381-1111, www.thevandyck.com. This landmark restaurant and brewpub now features authentic smoked barbeque with ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, plus sides like collard greens, cornbread and ranch beans. Van Dyck’s favorites include aged sirloin, garden salads, vegetarian penne pasta, and blackened salmon. Full selection of homebrewed beer. Serving 4-midnight Tue-Sat. Closed Sun-Mon.
