Sean Rowe

Area singer-songwriter Sean Rowe is well-known around town for his unique soul-funk tunes delivered in his trademark Lou Rawls rumble. He’s an open-mike mainstay, and he and his acoustic guitar can be found frequently in coffee shops and clubs throughout the area. On Wednesday, they’ll be at the Arts Center in Troy, performing at a CD-release party for Rowe’s third album, 27, which features bassmaster Stephen Orsini and king of the skins Steve Candlen. And though the CD contains other musicians, Rowe has the uncanny ability in live performance to mimic a three-piece band. The show starts at 7:30 PM and is $5.
